While considering the story of Abraham and Sarah, MY MIND asked softly and quietly within the chambers in the midst of my heart what kind of man would Abraham have to be for her to hold him in such high REGARD that she would call him “lord”?
Weeks past and the question echoed in time but went unanswered.
Years ago, I remarked defiantly to the Islamic declaration that “the whole world, including the free world, would ‘submit’ to Islam” –
Again;
yeah, like that is going to happen, guile is what they would continue to get in return.
A woman refuses to submit to the very will of God, let alone to an idiot man, incapable of thinking on his own much less acting on his own. Oh sure the men literally drag and beat a woman into “submission” to be their “wives” after beautiful words of guile have been spoken in this religion {but this a general attribute of the “character” of man apart from religious dogmas obviously} because these are the “club rules” for membership to this religion and others that have been handed down through the words of the “dark ages” of dead men while enlightenment and least of which, LOVE, have been forgone conclusions – as FEAR is the only tie that binds as has borne out as proof – the imperceptible FRAGRANCE of those “beautiful” words which turn into a foul stench. Seems reasonable and profitable right? But for whom? It is fair to assert therefore, that a woman has never ever WILLINGLY given herself and remains captive, unmoved and untouched – AND as Lucifer remarked to the Lord, is “skin for skin” (Job 2: 4) obviously. Ironic isn’t it? Religious dogmas, and the errands of witless fools who GAIN NOTHING, least of which, a consummated enduring relationship of love which only God joins together IN CONSECRATION.
As I go about my way in this journey through life, I observe the landscape if you will, of this world; the lunacy of guile imposed on the witless masses by seducing “familiar spirits” (1 Timothy 4: 1), the 10% of the fallen angels as well as the remaining spirits of the Nephilims. I pray that just as these are not allowed into Heaven, that such “spirits” be likewise removed from the face of the earth in furtherance of God’s mercy to humanity as we seek the very face of our God in continued obedience, but more importantly, that the way of the Lord be made straight in preparation for His coming by this removal. As the legion of demons themselves “knew” when our Lord Jesus walked upon the earth and asked our Lord, “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?” (Matthew 8: 29).
Where to “submit” to the will of God is to TRUST HIM completely and simply as the lesson of Abraham and Sarah, as well as many other accounts have shown. This TRUST, I believe, was the “knock” at the very door to the chambers of my heart, while the “eyes” of my mind saw the winds and raging waves as He bid me to come to Him and I remained afraid to move towards Him, IN TRUST.

As a woman contending with man within the bonds of Holy Matrimony in obedience to God, it is clear that “a man can only be worthy of such a submissive wife when he has learned to follow God’s directions rather than pursue his own selfish goals, he knows he has no superiority to warrant his position of leadership. It is given to him by God. So he accepts it as a sacred trust and discharges it in full submission to his Lord and unselfish consideration for his wife and what is best for her”.
So what KIND of man COULD WARRANT such a high REGARD that a wife would WILLINGLY begin to think about him in this way and eventually conclude and call her husband “lord”? Would such a word even come from her lips to her husband’s ear?
“And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is NONE like him in the earth, a PERFECT AND UPRIGHT MAN, ONE THAT FEARETH GOD, AND ESCHEWETH EVIL? AND STILL HE HOLDETH FAST HIS INTEGRITY…” [emphasis added]; Job 2: 3.
The world of men is very busy “telling” women what they must do; demanding that they be Godly submissive wives within the realm of spirituality if not additional demands in physical actions and yet the men themselves forsake their own “perfection” and much less are “holding fast to their integrity”. They are exquisitely clad in professional titles, but stoop to worldly lusts and pleasures of the flesh with unchaste eyes and reckless words in speech with one another or worse believe their own ideas of “handsomeness” is all a woman could “warrant” in return for her submissiveness – GUILE and the foolishness of pride. Pity they fail to perceive the mirror reflecting their bent walk in the very eyes of their loved ones and fail to correct their walk and “be upright” men or similarly perceive the foul stench emanating from their garments of professional titles as they work in guile. For some women, it does suffice for the moment, but for Godly women the REGARD of the chambers of her HEART AND THE MIDST THEREOF are admissions GAINED only by the INTEGRITY OF LOVE and remains unconsecrated ceremoniously obviously, much less is consummated. It is a dump in the dump of festering stench and rot of useless “things” where no life much less beauty and serenity manifest – the inwardward gratification and admiration of love reflected outward. Interesting. It took me over forty years to consider my husband since youth in these terms of reverence – the very power of love that transcends death (”
) one in where integrity emerges from specific failures but where subsequent corrections gleam in brilliance as the Lord’s light refracts. Sight that would not have been possible without faith and first trusting in the Lord. God be PRAISED.
A strong willed woman like me is slow witted and I lament the time wasted in my own foolish pride, but gratefully, I learned and understand. How long will it take YOU?
So go on men and women alike of the world and play your fleshly “power” games of vanity and dominion while denying the spiritual nature to your beings in obedience, and wonder not at never discoverying the true power of love, it is the price you paid for vanity and pride. But know well, that “all that a man hath will he give for his life” – it is “Skin for Skin” and one knows no peace in the world of flesh and unfaithfulness; but reward and everlasting life in faith and obedience in the translated spiritual real world AND where LOVE awaits.
